Balti Chicken
- Chicken 8 medium-size pieces

Onions 2 (chopped)

Yogurt 2 tbsp (whipped)

Tomato 2 (chopped)

Green chili 4 tsp (finely sliced)

Ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp

Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Tomato paste ½ cup
-
Cinnamon 1 inch stick

Cardamom 2
-
Black peppercorn 6

Cumin seeds ½ tsp

Red chili powder 1 tsp
-
All spice powder ½ tsp

Salt 1, ½ tsp

Oil ½ cup

Coriander leaves for garnishing
Cooking Directions
- Fry onions till golden.

Add tomatoes, green chilli and ginger/garlic paste, cook for a minute.

Add black pepper, cardamoms and cinnamon. Mix well.

Add cumin, red chillies, coriander and all spice, mix.

Add chicken and fry on high flame.

Add tomato paste, salt and yogurt.

Cover and cook on low flame till chicken is done and oil starts to separate.

Turn off the flame and mix in lemon juice.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
